The issue of concrete modification railway sleepers remains relevant in connection with the growing demand for this product and increased requirements operational characteristics one basic materials track superstructure. problem is a partial early failure sleepers, loss load-bearing capacity periods operation (in first years or after ten years). A lot work has been done direction, most them are aimed at modification, but it also worth considering design features order to increase bearing necessary consider other ways solve problem. aim researching was modify properties by polycarboxylate-based superplasticizers as modifiers, determines their optimal dosages (from 0.8 1.1% weight cement) accordance physical mechanical raw required workability. considered article reinforced wire diameter 7 mm (one options enlarged reinforcement). An option additional reinforcement area rail seat proposed. Tests were carried out determine materials, strength concrete, full-scale tests spars crack resistance bending out. on certified equipment. According research results, concluded that production meet requirements, use high-quality cements, polycarboxylate- based reinforcement.
